About the Role

Responsible for executing departmental inventory counts, processing damaged or defective merchandise, managing vendor returns, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This role works cross-functionally to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to club standards.

Responsibilities

• Track, plan, coordinate, and execute department inventory counts within assigned deadlines.
• Obtain return authorizations from vendors and process vendor chargebacks.
• Package and ship merchandise returns according to vendor policies.
• Maintain accurate inventory status for damaged, defective, and returned items.
• Assess breakage logs and process spoiled or broken merchandise out of inventory.
• Conduct daily club safety walks.
• Administer salvage and donation merchandise orders.
• Execute merchandise protection on designated items.
• Review daily return reports and process merchandise recalls.
• Process tire and battery returns.
• Re-wrap sellable merchandise using proper packaging guidelines.
• Maintain department cleanliness and organization.
• Enter weekly front door recoveries into the case management system.
• Support club policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Perform additional duties in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Ability to perform regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Ability to move about on hard surfaces for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, climb, crawl, pull, reach, and stoop.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently.
• Ability to lift and move heavy or awkward objects over 30 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack.
