About the Role

Accelerate your impact as a Technical Consultant in our Hospital Patient Monitoring business, where you’ll independently lead complex patient monitoring implementations, serve as a trusted technical expert to customers, and drive reliable, secure, and high-performing healthcare solutions while mentoring others and shaping how services are delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Independently lead and execute complex system installations, upgrades, and implementations across patient monitoring and IT infrastructure environments, ensuring reliable performance and high-quality delivery.
  • Provide hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, validation, and system optimization to maintain operational continuity.
  • Serve as the primary technical authority for system architecture, networking decisions, configuration validation, and risk management.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex system and performance issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques and structured problem-solving approaches.
  • Engage customers as a trusted advisor to understand technical environments, workflows, and operational challenges.
  • Lead technical discussions and deliver tailored recommendations that align solutions with clinical, business, and strategic objectives.
  • Own configuration management, version control, and system validation while developing and promoting standardized methodologies and best practices.
  • Ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance while contributing to continuous improvement and organizational knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, clinical, service, and project teams.
  • Mentor junior consultants to build technical capability and consistency.
  • Represent the organization professionally, strengthening customer relationships and supporting long-term success and growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional working experience in IT services or related technical environments.
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical IT environment required.
  • Experience with patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators highly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer networking, system integration, and technical troubleshooting in a healthcare IT environment.
  • Must be able to successfully perform minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
  • Must be able to travel for business (approximately 75% travel across the specified geography).
  • Must be able to work in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as in a hospital/healthcare environment.
  • Must adhere to requirements and comply with vendor credentialing.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours (based on business needs to include non-standard work hours, overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations).
  • Must wear all required personal protective equipment.
  • Technically strong and independent professional with a consultative approach to translating complex solutions.
  • Strong communication, organizational rigor, and leadership skills.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
  • The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
  • Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.
  • Must reside in or within commuting distance to Syracuse, NY.
