About the Role

International Paper is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs on various equipment. This role supports troubleshooting and repair of corrugators, die cutters, conveyors, and related machinery, as well as assisting with electrical tasks and boiler operations. The position requires obtaining specific boiler licenses within specified timeframes and meeting physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs; document work in CMMS.
Support troubleshooting and repair of corrugators, die cutters, conveyors, and related equipment.
Assist with electrical tasks including motors, sensors, switches, safety devices, and basic PLC diagnostics; follow LOTO procedures.
Support boiler operations, inspections, water sampling, and regulatory compliance.
Obtain MN Special Class Boiler License (90 days) and 2B License (within 2 years).
Meet physical requirements (lift 50 lbs; standing, bending, climbing) and work safely in an industrial environment using required PPE.
