About the Role

The Venue Sourcing Intern supports the Venue Sourcing team in the end-to-end sourcing process for meetings and events, providing hands-on experience in site selection. This role offers exposure to venue sourcing operations, systems, and client service within a fast-paced, global brand experience agency.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team in researching and identifying venues for meetings and events
  • Assist in reviewing venue contracts and client addendums for accuracy
  • Help prepare and submit RFPs (Request for Proposals) using platforms such as Cvent
  • Track and organize venue responses, availability, and pricing details
  • Assist in compiling cost comparisons and tracking potential savings for clients
  • Contribute ideas and assist with creative solutions during the sourcing process
  • Help consolidate information for client reports and presentations
  • Maintain and update venue information in Cvent and internal databases
  • Support coordination of site visits, including logistics and materials preparation
  • Attend industry events when appropriate for learning and exposure
  • Help build and maintain a database of venues, hotels, and destinations
  • Act as an ambassador for the FIRST brand, leading by example and displaying the company’s core values (Ambition, Creativity, Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork)

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Creative problem solver, resourceful, and a team player
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workloads and maintain attention to details
