About the Role
The IT Data Operations Intern will support the PMO and business stakeholders in executing a Salesforce data cleanup initiative. This role focuses on categorizing, prioritizing, and cleansing data sets to improve pipeline tracking, project metrics, and reporting accuracy, offering hands-on experience in enterprise data remediation.
Responsibilities
- Review data analysis readouts to identify corrupted, duplicate, or incomplete Salesforce data
- Interview business stakeholders and data owners to understand data origins and context
- Translate data analysis readouts into actionable remediation project plans
- Develop a prioritization matrix to determine cleanup urgency based on business impact
- Utilize Excel and Salesforce data tools to clean, standardize, and validate data sets
- Experiment with AI tools and advanced Excel techniques for data manipulation and quality tracking
- Maintain an audit log and status dashboard of cleanup progress for PMO leadership
Requirements
- Strong data curiosity and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Excel functions including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, filtering, and text formulas
- High level of organization and detail orientation
- Exposure to or eagerness to learn enterprise Salesforce architecture and AI-assisted data tools
- Must live in the NY tri-state area
- Ability to work in office 2 days a week
- Ability to operate office equipment for prolonged periods
- Ability to cooperate with employees and clients from diverse backgrounds
- Clarity of near vision for minute accuracy
