About the Role
This position requires a full-time Biomedical Equipment Technician II responsible for providing repairs and preventative maintenance for client biomedical equipment. The individual will maintain records, document service, and coordinate service within their department, requiring strong electromechanical skills.
Responsibilities
- Inspection, assessment, testing, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of medical equipment and medical devices per manufacturers’ recommendations as well as established guidelines for use in both a shop and clinical environment
- Responsible for general and various types of medical/patient care equipment, including life saving/support devices
- Complete assigned work orders in a professional and on-time manner
- Maintain records
- Document service
- Coordinate service within their department
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience servicing biomedical medical equipment
- Previous experience with Sigma Pumps preferred
- Must have good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
