About the Role
Griffith Foods is seeking a Sales Director to lead the Protein Segment, driving profitable and sustainable growth aligned with the company’s Purpose-Driven Strategy. This role is responsible for sales, margin, and growth objectives by leading commercial strategy, disciplined execution, and customer portfolio optimization within the company's largest segment.
Responsibilities
- Own full commercial leadership for the Protein Segment, translating enterprise strategy into actionable commercial plans that deliver profitable growth.
- Lead and develop a high-performing commercial organization of 5 direct reports, fostering accountability, coaching talent, and building a succession pipeline.
- Drive disciplined revenue, volume, and margin performance with P&L accountability, consistently achieving targets.
- Serve as the primary commercial partner to R&D, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations, aligning cross-functional priorities.
- Embed a fact-based, data-driven performance culture, defining, monitoring, and acting on critical KPIs.
- Maximize customer value while protecting commercial discipline through strong pricing governance, contract management, and margin stewardship.
- Lead strategic account management and executive-level customer relationships, championing customer-centric, solutions-based approaches.
- Standardize and scale best-in-class commercial practices, continuously improving sales productivity and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or a related area.
- At least 10 years of progressive sales experience, including at least 4 years of people leadership experience, within the foodservice or food & beverage CPG industry.
- Previous revenue accountability of at least $150M CAD.
- Willingness to work onsite in Scarborough when needed for leadership meetings and business needs.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time within Canada.
- Current location within a commutable distance to Scarborough, ON.

Salary/Compensations
- CAD $135,000 to $170,000 annually
- Eligible for a sales incentive plan, with a target of 25%, based on performance
