About the Role
The University of Texas at Austin is seeking an experienced Organizational Trainer to support the UT Works Program. This role focuses on designing, developing, and delivering training for work management software and business processes to improve physical space management and service delivery across campus units.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and assess training for work management software and business processes.
- Create classroom materials, user guides, job aids, and online content.
- Assist employees with technical issues and monitor progress through system training.
- Conduct coaching conversations to promote instructional improvement.
- Collaborate with training leads to maintain documentation and curriculum.
- Implement instructional strategies for diverse audiences, including frontline technicians.
- Manage course development and maintenance using Cornerstone LMS.
- Provide on-call support and troubleshoot minor system issues.
- Participate in software testing and drive University vehicles as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 8 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering classroom training.
- Experience in a teacher leader or leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability in adult learning models.
- Experience in facilities, construction, utilities, or frontline technician training.
- Proficiency in developing online training courses and using simulation/video software.
- Familiarity with video production, editing, creative design, and Microsoft Office.
- Must possess a class C operator's driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
