About the Role
The Analyst - Fleet Strategy & Analysis is responsible for the analysis and execution of fleet-related strategic projects and transactions, including aircraft and engine purchases, leases, and sales. This role provides analytical support for ongoing fleet programs and collaborates with various departments to align the overall fleet plan with the corporate growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis for all fleet strategy functions.
- Develop materials for fleet governance and program meetings.
- Assist with assessments of aircraft leases, aircraft and engine orders and sales.
- Analyze operational performance and capabilities of various fleet types.
- Analyze engine maintenance condition, configuration, and utilization status to support internal analyses and fleet and engine related transactions.
- Build business case analysis and ad hoc financial modeling for various fleet initiatives.
- Assist with administration of fleet contracts.
- Update and distribute regular fleet reports to various internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate updates to the aircraft capital expenditures forecast with internal groups.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience.
- Two (2) years of finance or related experience.
- Strong financial modeling skills; including ability to conduct Return on Invested Capital (ROIC), Net Present Value (NPV) and Return on Investment (ROI) analyses.
- Strong ability to analyze data and present recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain short deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the US is required.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
