About the Role
As a Manager, Programmatic, you will employ and continuously define innovative techniques in the online marketing industry. Your deep understanding of digital technologies and passion for leveraging data will be invaluable. You will report directly to the Associate Director, contributing to the overall success of our programmatic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Implement and sustain processes for successful programmatic campaign execution and business growth.
- Own programmatic campaigns, managing junior or offshore staff for seamless activation and performance.
- Understand client performance objectives and develop segmentation and optimization strategies.
- Set campaign strategies including targeting, bidding, platforms, data usage, and downstream client funnel optimization.
- Utilize data and results to make compelling arguments for increased client data access.
- Build cooperative relationships with strategy, research, creative agencies, and digital vendors.
- Investigate unique opportunities to reach target consumers and provide recommendations on programmatic tools.
- Execute the media plan, measure media performance, and optimize based on campaign results.
- Offer tactical alternatives based on client needs and requests.
- Mentor junior staff, delegate responsibilities, create timelines, and provide feedback.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of programmatic experience
- 2+ years in a management role
- Relevant post-secondary education, training, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of and skill using The Trade Desk, DV360, Yahoo DSP, Amazon DSP, Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Digital analytics fundamentals, including tracking & tagging, data management concepts, DMP activation, dynamic creative, programmatic buying, and remarketing
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and balance time across multiple clients, partner relationships, and internal initiatives
- Exceptional narrative skills, demonstrated ability to craft compelling stories
- Good verbal and written skills, and is a good listener
- Appreciation of the complexity of the cross-platform landscape and a thirst to continue learning
- Analytical eye to extract trends from large data sets and a creative mind to translate said trends into insightful learnings
- Desire to be influential in junior/offshore talent’s media education and patience to simplify concepts

Salary/Compensations
- $60,000 - $70,000
