About the Role

The Supply Chain Manager leads the end-to-end supply chain process, transforming autonomous vehicle designs into physical products. This role oversees sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and materials planning for mechanical and electrical components, ensuring parts are delivered on time and within budget while building scalable processes in a fast-paced hardware startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for vehicle, autonomous technology, and charging hardware.
  • Manage sourcing, procurement, and purchasing for mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • Lead commercial engagement and negotiations on cost, terms, and long-term supply agreements.
  • Manage materials planning, inventory, and logistics to mitigate supply risks and shortages.
  • Partner with engineering to drive design-for-supply-chain, manage long-lead items, and support part selection.
  • Track key metrics including on-time delivery, cost, inventory levels, and supplier quality.
  • Establish scalable procurement processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with trade, customs, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or materials management for hardware or manufactured products.
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing and managing suppliers for mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
  • Strong understanding of BOMs, materials planning, lead times, and cost/quality trade-offs.
  • Experience negotiating supplier pricing, terms, and supply agreements.
  • Proficiency with supply chain planning tools.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
