About the Role
Lead production operations within a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment, focusing on shift execution, personnel leadership, safety compliance, tool performance, and achieving production targets while maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate combines strong lithography process knowledge with proven leadership capability in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise photolithography operators and process technicians during assigned shift
- Drive daily production targets including throughput, WIP management, and cycle time
- Ensure smooth shift handoff communication
- Respond to process excursions and coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams
- Escalate issues appropriately to minimize downtime and yield impact
- Monitor critical lithography metrics (CD control, overlay, defect density, resist thickness)
- Support troubleshooting of coat, expose, develop processes
- Ensure SPC compliance and process control adherence
- Coordinate tool qualifications and maintenance schedules
- Partner with engineering on continuous improvement initiatives
- Enforce cleanroom protocols and EHS standards
- Ensure documentation accuracy and shift reporting discipline
- Drive root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone) for excursions
- Maintain compliance with manufacturing and quality systems
- Coach and mentor team members
- Conduct performance discussions and provide feedback
- Manage shift staffing, attendance, and scheduling
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience
- 2+ years of photolithography-specific experience preferred
- 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
- Strong understanding of Photoresist processes (coat, expose, develop)
- Strong understanding of CD and overlay control
- Strong understanding of SPC and statistical analysis
- Experience in high-volume 200mm or 300mm fab environments
- Ability to work in a cleanroom
- Ability to support the assigned shift schedule
- Experience working with industry-standard tools such as ASML steppers/scanners, Nikon Corporation exposure systems, Canon Inc. lithography systems, TEL track systems, KLA Corporation inspection/metrology tools
- Experience ramping new tools or processes
- Familiarity with MES systems
- Proficiency in Excel
