About the Role

This role is primarily accountable for leading the development and execution of brand plans for Creemore Springs Brewery. The successful candidate will have ownership over marketing initiatives and will be instrumental in building on the iconic 40-year legacy of Creemore Springs Brewery, enabling the business to deliver against short and long-term objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of a rolling three-year business plan.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and assess market performance, category/competitive dynamics, consumer metrics, and trends.
  • Assess brand SWOT to determine key levers for maximizing long-term performance.
  • Maintain a compelling portfolio architecture and brand positioning based on consumer insight and fact-based analysis.
  • Support the development of a three-year roadmap with measurable milestones for brand growth.
  • Collaborate with local agencies to develop marketing campaigns and experiential activations.
  • Support the development and stewardship of the brand's visual identity, translating strategy into a core visual language and three-year roadmap.
  • Participate in the development of the brand's innovation strategy, collaborating on concept development, strategy & positioning, visual identity, and core communication strategy.
  • Develop core go-to-market strategies, including beer strategy, communications strategy, partnership activation, core activation pillars, digital strategy, and revenue management strategy.
  • Collaborate with tier 1 sports properties and local partners for partnership activation.
  • Provide coaching, development support, and set a team vision for one direct report (Assistant Brand Manager).

Requirements

  • University degree required, preferably with a marketing focus.
  • Minimum 5 years of brand marketing experience.
  • Experience in alcohol/beverage or packaged goods is preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of people management experience is preferred.
  • Additional agency and/or sales experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong strategic and brand stewardship experience required.
  • Experience in developing long-range plans including brand positioning, visual identity, innovation strategy, and other core marketing strategies.
  • Ability to lead the development of brand/portfolio strategy and translate it into tangible results.
  • Energetic leadership and strong influencing abilities.
  • Driven to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and insight mining skills.
  • Strong business fundamentals and communication skills.
  • A self-starter able to manage multiple projects through various stages of development.

Salary/Compensations

  • $102,400.00 - $134,400.00
  • 13% target short term incentive
  • $11,000 on average spent on benefits per employee
