About the Role
The Master Data Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining the quality and integrity of master data within the system, ensuring data related to business partners, customers, suppliers, and products is accurate and up-to-date. This role will support the implementation of the SAP Master Data Governance platform and perform ongoing Master Data activities.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and uphold Riverside Natural Food’s Core Values
- Partner with Business Process owners to provide end-to-end technology solutions implementation and Master Data enablement
- Update and maintain master data to ensure accuracy and consistency using Fiori UI
- Implement data governance practices to consolidate, detect duplicates, and manage data quality using mass processing capabilities
- Continuously monitor and improve data quality through regular audits and remediation processes
- Provide support and training to users on master data processes and best practices
- Generate and analyze reports on data quality and integrity
- Demonstrate ownership, confidence, and ability to make recommendations for SAP best practices and solutions
- Ensure technical design and delivery align with functional specifications and adhere to quality standards
- Document requirements, develop business process maps, create project plans and training materials
- Utilize approved testing methodologies, processes, and procedures
- Provide input to data architecture, security, and data standards
- Share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the Master Data governance process
- Perform fit/gap analysis and design decisions, ensuring deviations from standard functionality are justified
- Collaborate effectively with key business decision makers and end users to resolve issues
- Coordinate execution of project tasks and work under pressure of tight project deadlines
- Continuously learn new skills and improve existing ones in technologies such as SAP MDG
- Keep the work atmosphere fun by keeping it light and welcoming
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
- 3 plus years of experience in master data management, preferably within an SAP S/4HANA environment
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA master data structures and processes
- Proficiency in data governance and data quality management tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
- Strong organizational, time management, facilitation, and process management skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support
- Experience in preparation & Execution of Test Cases / Test Plans / Test scripts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to prioritize and multitask multiple projects
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with a proven ability to deal with complex issues within cross-functional teams
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, self-starter with a high level of initiative and adaptability
- Team player with a positive attitude
