About the Role

Assists the Director in all phases of the administration of QTRC, serving as a general information source and message center for QTRC activities, including receiving clients and answering phones.

Responsibilities

  • Executes tasks and projects as delegated by the Director and/or Assistant Director and provides staff support for conferences, workshops, and seminars.
  • Composes and types letters, reports, committee minutes, and other office correspondence for the Directors.
  • Orders and maintains office supplies.
  • Assists Directors in research projects and provides information relating to office files as requested.
  • Schedules and coordinates internal functions of the Directors by making appointments and room reservations for meetings.

Requirements

  • Must be a student at San Francisco State University enrolled in at least 6 units for undergraduates or 4 units for graduates.
  • Must have working knowledge and understanding of LGBTQ+ culture.
  • Preferred administrative office experience or volunteer experience with the QTRC or similar organizations.
