About the Role

The Office Assistant will provide administrative and event support for EROS, a program focused on contemporary sexuality education and community connection at San Francisco State University.

Responsibilities

  • Execute tasks and projects as delegated by the Director and/or Assistant Director.
  • Provide event support for conferences, workshops, and seminars.
  • Compose and type emails, reports, meeting minutes, and other office correspondence.
  • Order and maintain office supplies, including safe sex student support supplies.
  • Assist Directors in research projects and provide information from office files.
  • Support with scheduling and organizing tabling/outreach events.
  • Maintain library inventory and office supplies.
  • Manage Program referral list and schedule appointments with students seeking referrals.

Requirements

  • Must be a student at San Francisco State University enrolled in at least 6 units for undergraduates or 4 units for graduates.
  • Previous volunteer experience in EROS is a plus.
  • One year of administrative office experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
