About the Role
The Area Manager oversees all operational phases of a property portfolio, including administration and maintenance. This role directs personnel and resources to meet fiscal goals while ensuring properties are maintained in excellent physical condition.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor property operating and renovation budgets for a portfolio of 4-5 communities.
- Analyze, create, and re-project operating and capital budgets.
- Review and evaluate monthly operating statements and prepare variance summaries.
- Supervise and administer contract services, repairs, and supplies.
- Approve expenses and secure over-budget approvals from asset managers when necessary.
- Coordinate with the Regional Service Manager and Vice President to deliver capital expenditures on time and on budget.
- Evaluate staffing needs to maximize net income and resident satisfaction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of management experience.
- Thorough understanding and application of Fair Housing principles.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Salary/Compensations
- $115,000 – $125,000 (includes base pay and variable incentive pay)
