About the Role

KBR is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support the SPARC Program for KBR’s Science and Space division. This role will provide strategic and tactical guidance to create and implement a comprehensive marketing and outreach campaign focused on brain health research for the military and Veteran community.

Responsibilities

  • Implement community outreach and collaborate with the project team to develop local approaches and strategies.
  • Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly scheduling assignments and activities for the team.
  • Evaluate effectiveness and generate real-time insights into team performance.
  • Track team performance goals to achieve outcomes associated with brain donation initiatives.
  • Build community relationships, especially within end-of-life partners within the geographic region and state.
  • Provide outreach coordination across the team’s efforts and interface with teams outside of the region.
  • Conduct site visits at partner locations.
  • Research, assess, develop, design, assign, and coordinate outreach initiatives.
  • Support outreach initiatives by coordinating program scheduling, materials management, and event planning.
  • Coordinate across regions with peers to build a cohesive and standard approach.
  • Plan and coordinate outreach events and participate in community events/conferences.
  • Implement promotional strategies with a strategic mindset.
  • Support the marketing initiative’s administrative tasks.
  • Support overall program objectives through directed activities.
  • Engage in direct partner engagement in the field at least 75% of the time, with daily field work.
  • Present to and manage executive level relationships.
  • Conduct outreach at event and conference tables and manage subsequent contact follow-up.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, and 3-5 years of engagement and outreach experience.
  • An additional 4 years of directly related Field Marketing experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Prior experience implementing and coordinating outreach initiatives in medical sales, end-of-life sales/marketing, law enforcement, civic leaders, military/Veteran partners, or similar roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing complex Customer Relationship Management systems, tools, and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing marketing and outreach tools (print, presentation, audio, video).
  • Reliable transportation and current driver's license.
  • Comfortable in a highly collaborative setting.
