About the Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will help customers understand how Compyl’s GRC platform solves security and compliance challenges. You will partner with Sales to guide prospects through technical evaluations, design tailored solutions, and demonstrate the platform's capabilities. You will act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle, connecting Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, and providing feedback to influence product roadmap and customer experience.

- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.
- Provide valuable feedback that influences product roadmap, onboarding, and customer experience strategies.
Requirements
- 4+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting.
- SaaS, cybersecurity, GRC, or compliance experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred), security frameworks, and APIs.
- Proficient in communicating technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Familiarity with GRC domains (e.g., TPRM, IGA, BCDR) and tools such as OneTrust, Riskonnect, Onspring, or Zilla.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as SOX, SOC 2, PCI, GDPR, NIST, and ISO 27001.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
- Pragmatic, “compliance-by-design” mindset.

- Competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure
- Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
