About the Role

Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable federal, state, local and company standards, guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Act as a liaison between team members, supervisors, and management.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use, and perform scheduled routine cleaning.
• Store, label, and date food items according to policy, and help maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Enforce HACCP and DOH guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Communicate with management regarding equipment needs and repairs.
• Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Perform end-of-night concession stand inventory.
• Assist in the cross-training of new employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Certain positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.
