About the Role
The Food Service Worker is responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving food while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients
- Transport pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stoves, and refrigerators
- Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures
- Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment
- Utilize approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality and portion control
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Resolve customer concerns and relay information to supervisors
- Ensure compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures
- Maintain compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements
