About the Role

ABC Supply is the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products. Inside Sales Associates provide unparalleled service by helping customers purchase products for roofing, building, and remodeling projects. This role is for individuals committed to world-class service, passionate about sales, and eager to join a winning team.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Follow a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-sell additional products and supplies.
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders.
• Accept payment and apply it to the appropriate customer account.
• Coordinate customer pick-ups with the warehouse.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for.
• Reorder products to keep store and warehouse shelves well-stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns.

Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Detail and service-oriented.
