About the Role
This intermediate management position is responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team to grow sales and client base. The objective is to grow sales, build customer loyalty, and recommend business strategies, potentially managing external organizations and direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Administer branch sales, service, control, and human resource management.
- Manage staff to ensure clear work priorities, activities, and high customer service levels.
- Execute planning and budgeting to meet branch annual goals.
- Conduct daily huddles to communicate company goals, business strategies, initiatives, and expectations.
- Monitor performance to ensure branch metrics are met and implement action plans for customer satisfaction.
- Oversee branch controls and compliance to manage risk and ensure positive internal audit ratings.
- Identify training needs, career progression opportunities, and partner with staff on development plans.
- Perform supervisory duties including performance evaluations, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Lead recruitment, selection, and onboarding for branch sales and operations roles.
- Assess risk in business decisions, considering firm reputation, client and asset protection, and compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.
- Apply sound ethical judgment and escalate control issues with transparency.
- Supervise the activity of others and create accountability for maintaining standards.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of relevant experience required.
- Previous experience in banking or financial industry preferred.
- Proven experience managing teams.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
