About the Role
The Senior TechOps Engineer designs, implements, optimizes, and supports scalable, multitenant technology solutions for internal employees and external clients. This role acts as a subject matter expert, provides advanced technical support, and focuses on automating and improving operational processes. Success requires strong technical judgment, ownership, curiosity, and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Atlas Technica’s multitenant technology solutions.
- Provide escalation and second-line support to end users and other Atlas Technica team members.
- Stay informed about new features, updates, and capabilities released by vendors for existing solutions.
- Create, maintain, and update technical documentation.
- Research and evaluate new vendors and technologies to determine whether stronger solutions are available.
- Identify manual or repetitive processes and develop opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Provide day-to-day user and platform support.
- Support the implementation and ongoing management of established solutions in accordance with best practices and technical documentation.
- Work with vendors to escalate and resolve technical support issues.
Requirements
- A four-year college degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least four years of experience in the IT industry working with relevant technologies; or at least eight years of overall IT experience, including two to four years of experience with relevant technologies.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure services.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 and Office 365.
- Experience working with Active Directory.
- At least two years of experience using an automation or scripting language, such as PowerShell.
- At least two years of experience working with SQL or related relational databases.
- At least one year of experience working as an administrator for one or more of the following platforms: ConnectWise Manage, ConnectWise ScreenConnect, ConnectWise CPQ/Sell, ConnectWise BrightGauge, NinjaOne, Audigy.
- Exposure to, or the ability to support and manage, Microsoft GDAP and Lighthouse.
- Experience integrating technology solutions through REST APIs.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to different audiences.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Strong drive, willingness to learn, accountability for one’s own work, and ownership of the overall outcome.
