Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate administrative steps in the selection pipeline, including candidate testing, background checks, and setting up interview schedules.
- Help prepare, format, and share job opening advertisements across social channels, internal systems, and external boards.
- Act as the central point of contact for candidates, ensuring consistent updates and follow-up communications throughout their evaluation.
- Confirm that all essential internal authorizations are secured prior to hiring efforts, and assist with the administrative tasks of generating offer letters.
- Offer general clerical and operational backup to team members across Talent Acquisition.
- Contribute to specialized hiring initiatives and team-wide process refinement tasks.
Requirements
- Previous background as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator or in a matching clerical hiring support capacity.
- Established background working in an agency environment or a corporate department.
- Familiarity navigating an environment with unionized personnel is a highly valuable asset.
- Outstanding capabilities in written and verbal communication.
- Meticulous detail orientation to manage multiple competing tasks without errors.
- Proven capability to closely align with institutional workflows and defined policies.
- Proficiency with Google Suite tools (such as Google Slides) or Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking platforms, with dynamic knowledge of Workday being a plus.
- Must be fluent in English and French (both spoken and written).
- Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
- As part of our recruitment process, candidates who advance to the next step will be asked to complete a background check.
- A mandatory Criminal record check.
- Other background checks may be conducted based on the operational requirements of the position.
- All employees must adhere to the Code of Conduct as a condition of employment.
- Employees must inform of any situation that constitutes or could appear to constitute a conflict of interest as quickly as possible.
