About the Role

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and surface grinders to begin production with minimal supervision in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform setups on CNC mills, lathes, and surface grinders for production runs.
• Feed raw materials or parts into machinery while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Monitor machinery throughout the production process to maintain GMP adherence.
• Conduct dimensional measurements using micrometers, test indicators, optical comparators, and gage blocks.
• Complete processing records and documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with department leads to troubleshoot equipment or processing issues.
• Perform routine machinery maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Suggest process and equipment improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by operations management.
• Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and respond constructively to feedback.
• Manage time effectively to meet production schedules and deadlines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and/or surface grinders.
• Experience with dimensional measurement tools such as micrometers and gage blocks.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Problem-solving skills and willingness to collaborate.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
