About the Role
West Monroe is seeking a Healthcare Director to join their dental strategy team. This leader will drive growth in the dental & specialty benefits segment by expanding client relationships, developing new opportunities, and delivering business and technology consulting solutions for healthcare organizations. Deep experience in the dental ecosystem, including payers, providers, DSOs, investors, and technology services organizations, is essential.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an engagement leader for healthcare clients, focusing on dental and specialty benefits.
- Partner with healthcare leaders on operational transformation, system implementations, technology strategy, and assessments.
- Lead complex business and technology transformation engagements, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction.
- Oversee project scope, budgets, risks, quality, and stakeholder communications.
- Analyze client challenges and develop practical, innovative solutions.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize information, and support data-driven recommendations.
- Apply AI technologies to improve delivery efficiency and enhance client outcomes.
- Be visible within the dental ecosystem, supporting strategic and technical relationships.
- Support the growth of existing client relationships and cultivate new opportunities.
- Partner with practice leaders on prospecting, networking, and market-facing activities.
- Lead proposal development, solution design, pricing support, and pursuit activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare executives, industry organizations, and strategic partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute go-to-market strategies.
- Contribute to the Healthcare Practice's growth objectives and strategic priorities.
- Help develop methodologies, offerings, accelerators, and thought leadership.
- Mentor, coach, and develop consultants, fostering an inclusive culture.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and career development initiatives.
- Contribute to resource planning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 8–12 years of consulting, healthcare, or professional services experience, including leadership of complex business and technology transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of claims, dental operations, DSO operations, dental practice management, and dental technology solutions and trends.
- Demonstrated success managing client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and contributing to business development efforts.
- Experience leading complex transformation initiatives involving operational, digital, technology, or organizational change.
- Strong executive communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with experience engaging senior client stakeholders.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing consulting teams while mentoring junior team members.
- Experience integrating AI tools into day-to-day workflows to enhance productivity and insight generation.
- Strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, mitigate bias, and ensure high-quality outputs.
- Ability to travel 25–50%.
