About the Role

Assures the quality of the Detail Shop process "First Time Right" is applied by Detailers. Communicates with detail line staff concerning quality and production goals and expectations, serving as the first point of contact per detail line.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the quality of work done by each team member, identifying vehicles that do not meet company standards.
• Communicate with team members positively and collaboratively regarding quality standards.
• Identify detailer strengths to effectively create assignments within the detail process.
• Ensure proper techniques and procedures are implemented by team members.
• Train team members on standard operating procedures for vehicle detail.
• Assist on the detail line and perform final detail tasks as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance, orderly work environment, and friendly disposition.
• Assist with shop cleaning and basic equipment maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report all incidents to management immediately.
• Properly log vehicle information into the computer upon satisfactory completion of inspection.
• Photograph and stage vehicles to ensure focused and clear pictures per standards.
• Return customer vehicles in clean condition.
• Run inventory reports for the detail shop.
• Advise the designated Manager of all equipment breakdowns and required maintenance immediately.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets the requirements.
• Able to safely drive a variety of make/model/sizes of vehicles.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
