About the Role
The TEAK Fellowship seeks an experienced middle or high school instructor to teach Writing to 7th-grade TEAK Fellows. Instructors will collaborate on curriculum structure for a 12-week program.
Responsibilities
- Teach 1 section of Writing to 7th or 8th graders for 12 weeks from September - December 2026.
- Provide 70 minutes of instruction between 4:45 PM - 6:15 PM each Tuesday or Thursday.
- Utilize Google Classroom and assign up to 1 hour of homework weekly.
- Collect and grade Fellow homework weekly.
- Attend a pre-semester new instructor meeting.
- Attend a 30-minute weekly planning meeting.
- Provide midterm and final grades, including writing student comments.
