About the Role
Big O Tires is seeking top-notch Automotive Lead Service Technicians to join their growing franchise. This role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles, leading a team, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a progressive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair to Mfg. specifications
- Perform all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance
- Complete brake and hydraulic repair
- Perform diagnostics, exhaust systems repair, and troubleshooting
- Perform primary and/or advanced fuel ignition repair
- Perform electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems repair
- Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals
- Manage Complete Vehicle Inspection Program responsibilities
- Train and assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities
Requirements
- Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to pass a DMV Motor Vehicle report for Insurance Coverage
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of automotive repair experience
- Completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment
- A.S.E. certification in at least 3 (three) of A1-A8 is required (New hires with external similar qualifications/certifications will have up to 2 years of employment to comply)
- Maintains Federal, State and Local certification/license where applicable
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people
