About the Role
Concorde Education partners with schools and community organizations to provide engaging enrichment programs. We are seeking enthusiastic instructors from diverse backgrounds to provide instructional services for programs serving K-12 students. This posting identifies professionals for future independent contractor instructional assignments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction.
- Prepare for each instructional session using approved lesson plans, provided curriculum, or instructor-developed activities.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage active student participation while adapting instruction to varying ages, experience levels, and learning styles.
- Maintain appropriate supervision and classroom management throughout each session.
- Communicate professionally with designated school personnel and Concorde Education representatives.
- Follow all applicable school policies, site procedures, safety expectations, and emergency protocols.
- Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled instructional sessions.
Requirements
- At least 60 completed college credits (or equivalent relevant professional experience).
- Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs.
- Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, or similar settings.
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills.
- Reliable, professional, and organized work habits.
