About the Role

This position is responsible for managing day-to-day document verification relating to Letters of Credit (LC) in a high-profile, high-risk, and critically time-sensitive transaction environment, supporting a global client base. The role involves checking LC documents for discrepancies, monitoring for compliance, operationalizing client care strategies, and maximizing transaction processing efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Verifying Import, Export documents under Letters of Credit and SBLC Demand Claim as per internal and external rules.
• Advising discrepancies to appropriate parties through SWIFT/ Portal /Fax/mail message.
• Dispatching documents as per L/C instruction and/or client’s exception instruction.
• Ensuring client satisfaction relative to the handling of LC document verification.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in document checking under Letter of Credit.
• Good knowledge of Trade Products.
• Client first orientation.
• Operational risk management and mitigation mindset.
• Technical / Computer proficiency.
• Problem solving / Analytical thinking.
• Working knowledge of JTPS / Trade 360 (Nice to Have).
• CDCS (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist) (Nice to Have).
