About the Role

Drive Paxos’s inorganic growth strategy by identifying, structuring, and executing acquisitions and managing fundraising processes. This role requires extreme ownership, a point of view on market trends, and the ability to source and execute deals independently.

Responsibilities

  • Own the M&A process end-to-end, including developing investment theses, sourcing, evaluating, and executing acquisitions.
  • Lead cross-functional diligence, drive deal structuring, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of targets aligned with Paxos’s strategic priorities.
  • Conduct operating performance analysis, lead market diligence, and prepare investment memos.
  • Develop financial models and valuation frameworks.
  • Lead end-to-end equity fundraise processes, including preparing investor materials and managing data rooms.
  • Coordinate diligence and control the process timeline for fundraising.
  • Maintain relationships with current and prospective investors.
  • Provide an informed external view on competitors, market structure, and emerging opportunities.
  • Translate market observations into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Source, evaluate, and recommend early-stage venture investments.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support founders and portfolio companies.
  • Help build the corp dev muscle at Paxos by establishing repeatable processes and developing institutional knowledge.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of executing M&A or investment transactions.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
  • Proven ability to own a fundraising process end-to-end.
  • Comfort operating as an individual contributor in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to pull in the right internal stakeholders at the right moment.
  • 7+ years of work experience.
