About the Role
We are hiring a Director of Product to own the end-to-end product experience at Niural. This is a player-coach role reporting directly to the CEO, setting product strategy, leading a team of PMs and designers, and staying hands-on with prototyping and shipping.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and roadmap across payroll, PEO/EOR, benefits, and payments as a single, coherent experience
- Set the taste bar for the company, ensuring every aspect of the product reflects high standards
- Define the interaction model for agentic software, focusing on user experience with AI
- Utilize AI-native building as a default workflow for rapid prototyping and user testing
- Lead, hire, and develop a unified product and design team
- Run discovery loops with customers to gather insights and translate them into shipped product
- Partner closely with engineering on prioritization and quality, making tradeoffs and decisions quickly
- Own product delight and correctness, including complex edge cases in tax, compliance, and money movement
- Contribute to the company narrative through product work, influencing fundraising, sales, and market perception
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management, with 2+ years leading teams
- Shipped complex B2B or fintech products at scale
- Demonstrated ability to pressure-test PRDs and provide substantive design critiques
- Experience building with AI daily, shipping or prototyping with modern AI tools
- Strong opinions on creating trustworthy and magical agentic and LLM-powered products
- Comfort operating with ambiguity, owning outcomes, and communicating crisply
- Track record of hiring and developing talented individuals
