About the Role
Heidelberg Materials is a leading global supplier of building materials. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of mobile equipment through diligent maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Perform routine inspections and identify mechanical issues before they impact production.
- Document all maintenance activities and communicate equipment status to supervisors.
- Collaborate with operations teams to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture.
Requirements
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair mobile equipment.
- Capability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or with a team.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Location
- Environments with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

- $25.87 per hour
