About the Role
Participate in the design, development, and evolution of microservices, APIs, and reusable libraries for executing algorithms in mission-critical production environments. Contribute to technological watch and define development standards for system efficiency, resilience, and sustainability. Optimize the platform for maximum velocity and scalability, and prioritize development tasks collaboratively. Assist testers with component and integration tests, ensuring high-quality deliverables and strengthening team productivity. Oversee the development of appropriate tactics to achieve objectives, support problem-solving, and act as a Technical Leader/Mentor for squad members.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, development and evolution of microservices, APIs and reusable libraries for the execution of our algorithms in mission critical production environments.
- Participate in the technological watch and definition of development standards to ensure system efficiency, resilience, and sustainability.
- Optimize the platform for maximum velocity and scalability.
- Optimize and prioritize development tasks in collaboration with the team.
- Help our testers in setting up component and integration tests.
- Ensure the high level of quality of the work delivered.
- Strengthen the development team productivity.
- Oversee the development of appropriate tactics to achieve objectives.
- Support and be proactively involved in problem situations or issues.
- Play a Technical Leader / Mentor role for Squad members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or software engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of significant experience in development of enterprise grade software solutions
- Proficient in python language and a good understanding of programming languages such as Java and Bash
- Good understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithm design techniques
- Experienced with machine learning libraries and scientific calculation such as Scikit-learn, NumPy, SciPy, etc.
- Experienced with software engineering life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experienced in developing complex services based on Docker, Kubernetes, Flask and Spring Boot
- Experienced with modern DevOps tools such as Gitlab, Grafana, ELK stack, Jenkins
- Working knowledge of streaming and batch processing systems such as Kafka.
- Familiarity with machine learning and data processing frameworks such as XGBoost, Tensorflow or Spark.
- Familiarity with data storage and warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, MongoDB, S3.
- Familiarity with AWS technologies such as Kinesis, Lambda and CloudWatch is a plus.

- Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles.
