About the Role

The Manager, Workplace Experience is the primary Workplace Experience partner for Mastercard's New York City, Purchase, and Boston locations. This role supports the delivery of Workplace Experience priorities across flagship sites, translating enterprise direction into local outcomes and ensuring a consistent, high-quality employee experience. Operating within a Center of Excellence model, the Manager leads site-based initiatives, builds stakeholder relationships, and identifies opportunities to enhance workplace experience, operational effectiveness, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted Workplace Experience partner for assigned locations, helping ensure enterprise priorities are effectively translated into local execution.
  • Build trusted relationships with business leaders, site stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
  • Serve as the day-to-day Workplace Experience point of contact for New York City, Purchase, and Boston.
  • Support the implementation of Workplace Experience priorities, programs, and initiatives within assigned locations.
  • Identify local workplace opportunities, employee needs, and operational challenges and bring forward recommendations for improvement.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure workplace experiences reflect local business needs while aligning with broader Workplace Experience objectives.
  • Monitor and communicate site-level trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Escalate issues requiring broader leadership decisions while independently addressing routine operational matters.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of Workplace Experience initiatives across assigned locations, ensuring strong stakeholder alignment and consistent execution.
  • Manage Workplace Experience initiatives from planning through execution and post-implementation review.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, stakeholder engagement strategies, and implementation approaches within established priorities.
  • Coordinate activities across cross-functional partners, including Real Estate, Facilities, Security, Technology, Communications, Finance, and People & Capability.
  • Balance multiple initiatives and priorities while maintaining visibility into risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
  • Identify execution challenges and recommend solutions to support successful outcomes.
  • Drive alignment among stakeholders and ensure actions are tracked through completion.
  • Ensure initiatives are delivered with a high-quality employee and stakeholder experience.
  • Maintain project documentation, status updates, communications, and implementation materials as needed.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance workplace experience, employee engagement, utilization, and operational effectiveness.
  • Gather and synthesize employee feedback, stakeholder input, workforce signals, and operational data to inform recommendations.
  • Develop and socialize ideas that improve workplace experiences and support business objectives.
  • Support pilot programs, site activations, and new initiatives designed to improve the workplace environment.
  • Share learnings, best practices, and opportunities that may benefit other locations.
  • Contribute ideas that help improve Workplace Experience programs, processes, and ways of working over time.
  • Support the execution of regional and enterprise Workplace Experience priorities within assigned locations.
  • Participate in Workplace Experience operating rhythms, planning discussions, and cross-functional working groups.
  • Provide location-based insights, feedback, and recommendations that help inform Workplace Experience programs and practices.
  • Partner with Workplace Experience colleagues across the region to share learnings and identify opportunities for greater consistency and scalability.
  • Contribute to enterprise initiatives and special projects as assigned.
  • Help reinforce Workplace Experience standards and ways of working through consistent local execution.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in workplace experience, employee experience, operations, project or program management, consulting, corporate services, real estate operations, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Experience leveraging data and analytics to support recommendations and decision-making.
  • Experience working within matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Lean, or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Strong judgment and ability to make thoughtful decisions within established priorities and direction.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to influence outcomes through relationships and partnership.
  • Relationship-oriented and skilled at building trust across functions, levels, and locations.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, organized, and execution-focused.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Committed to continuous improvement and delivering meaningful workplace experiences.
  • Able to handle sensitive information and organizational dynamics with professionalism and discretion.

  • Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
