Responsibilities

  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis and decision support for business operations, planning and development, and program/project activities.
  • Assist with determining customer requirements and translating them into organizational plans.
  • Develop information on budget status, workforce level, equipment availability, and other business unit capabilities.
  • Perform operational activities on behalf of business units.
  • Provide support, development, and leadership guidance to volunteers.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Provide program planning support through data analyses.
  • Conduct research, business plan analyses, and feasibility studies.
  • Identify trends and develop recommendations for issues of basic complexity.
  • Provide support for projects and operations including analysis, reporting, market research, budget forecasting, and scheduling.
  • Conduct risk, resource, cost-benefit, variance, impact, and other analyses of basic complexity.
  • Contribute to the development of metrics for performance of business units, organizations, initiatives, programs/projects, and business operations.
  • Monitor and report on performance.
  • Support management or senior analysts in the development of modeling and reporting tools or other systems for monitoring and analyzing performance or data integrity.
  • Coordinate operational support activities such as business development, human resources, administration, budget management, business information systems, logistics, and contracts.
  • Integrate performance data from multiple sources, including Salesforce, to enable business units to assess programs and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Provide analysis of current and potential strategies leveraged by business units.
  • Analyze data quality, trends, and performance metrics by designing reports and dashboards.
  • Leverage data mining and analytical techniques to identify patterns, correlations, and key business events.
  • Act as a point of contact for Training Services business units for standardized reports demonstrating results, analyses, and forecasts.
  • Track key metrics and measurements for program performance.
  • Run, maintain, analyze, document, and communicate key daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends week over week and year over year to make recommendations.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to scout new projects and report requests.
  • Provide business recommendations through ad-hoc data retrieval and analysis from data management systems.
  • Identify and address reporting issues.
  • Create succinct, professional, and well-researched presentations.
  • Document all analyses assumptions, procedures, results, and propose solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Ability to capture and document business and reporting requirements from multiple sources.
  • Ability to support simultaneous data analysis requests of varying size and scope.
  • Ability to run and maintain complex models and databases that perform analysis, organize data, and create reports from various sources.
  • Travel 5%.

Skills

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Strong proficiency of MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables/charts a must), Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Ability to gather and document business/reporting requirements
  • Skilled at managing multiple data analysis projects simultaneously
  • Experience maintaining databases, analyzing data, and creating reports
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx preferred
