About the Role
This role within the Institutional Client Group is responsible for meeting sales and revenue targets in the Rates space. The Lead Salesperson will leverage client/product knowledge, market insights, and relationships to generate sales opportunities and ensure client satisfaction. This involves acquiring and maintaining deep knowledge of allocated clients/products through research and ongoing contact, enabling the generation of fitting sales solutions. The role requires adherence to legal, regulatory, and Bank policy requirements, close liaison with existing clients, and the pursuit of new client opportunities. Collaboration with origination, trading, research, client services, and operations staff is essential for effective end-to-end client and product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Covering important institutional clients at a senior level within the Flow Credit Derivatives space.
- Developing strong relationships with partners, senior Portfolio Managers, principals, and capital markets professionals at client organizations.
- Collaborating with product partners in trading and structuring to deliver creative solutions for clients.
- Engaging in strategic planning, budgeting, and client wallet share analysis.
- Generating new revenue opportunities within the rates space.
- Driving sales growth in Credit Derivatives through new and existing relationships.
- Thinking strategically about the business and staying informed on market themes and trends.
Requirements
- Series 7TO, SIE, & 63
- Extensive experience in Fixed Income
- Strong interpersonal skills for developing new client relationships and communicating with various Deutsche Bank teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to persuade investors to purchase Deutsche Bank services.
