About the Role
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for all park operations, including safety, cleanliness, membership sales, park revenue, and providing an exceptional guest experience. You will lead by example, foster a positive work environment, and uphold Sky Zone standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily park operations, focusing on team members, customer service, revenue, expense management, facility compliance, and safety.
- Act as a hands-on leader and role model, supporting the team by executing any park position as needed.
- Develop Assistant General Managers and Team Leads into effective leaders and business experts.
- Oversee all phases of employment, including hiring, training, monitoring growth, and managing discipline and terminations.
- Serve as an effective park liaison through consistent communication across departments and with the corporate team.
- Provide memorable customer experiences by being proactive, responsive, and engaged.
- Address and resolve customer service issues, ensuring follow-up and documentation.
- Manage park operations and expenses according to P&L statements, overseeing purchases, inventory, and park costs.
- Drive park revenue goals in membership sales, birthday parties, and special events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on park promotions and marketing strategies.
- Train employees on their contribution to park revenue goals.
- Develop Front Desk Agents in sales processes and strategies.
- Ensure key performance metrics are understood by relevant staff.
- Cultivate positive relationships within the local community.
- Execute new ideas and initiatives.
- Evaluate and improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure team members are trained on safety precautions, responses, and reporting, complying with company and OSHA requirements.
- Monitor park attractions and equipment daily for safety and operational status, completing necessary reports and closing attractions if needed.
- Adjust staffing levels to meet safety demands.
- Complete inventory reports for facilities, parties, food & beverage, and vending.
- Drive success in overall park business goals, including membership sales, birthdays, events, labor/payroll, NPS, safety, compliance, and staffing.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a high customer volume industry (entertainment, fitness, retail, restaurant, etc.).
- At least 2 years of sales experience, membership sales preferred.
- Understand how to leverage P&L reports to set and manage business revenue goals.
- Demonstrated experience hitting or exceeding company KPIs.
- Basic proficiency in technology such as MS Office Suite, Teams, and point of sale (POS) systems.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Results-driven, reliable, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift a minimum of 20 pounds.

- $72,000-$82,000 base pay + bonus opportunity
