About the Role

The Smilist is seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Endodontist to join our team in Massapequa Park. As part of our clinical team, you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and a dedicated support staff, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality clinical outcomes and a boutique-level patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment, and surgical interventions as required.
• Partner closely with General Dentists and other clinical leadership to develop comprehensive treatment plans and ensure seamless patient transitions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation and patient records within our practice management system.
• Educate patients on their endodontic health and treatment options, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their care journey.
• Adhere to all organizational hiring policies, credentialing requirements, and healthcare laws to maintain the highest standards of practice.

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of a formal Endodontic specialty residency program.
• An active and unrestricted New York State dental license.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with both patients and referring general dentists.
