About the Role
Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a passionate Therapy Technician to join the team at our Forest Hills, Queens clinic to support patient care and maintain high standards of clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment areas
- Gather equipment and materials
- Perform procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist
- Maintain 5-star customer service
- Collaborate with team members to support patient care
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to grow
- Manual dexterity, general strength, and endurance
- Ability to routinely lift 5-35 pounds from floor to overhead
- Ability to routinely carry 5-10 pounds for 40-50 feet
- Ability to routinely push 5-150 pounds on casters, runners, or pulleys
- Ability to sustain a grip of 40-50 pounds for 1-2 minutes
