About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Director of Sourcing and Procurement to architect our global direct materials strategy. This role oversees Strategic Category Management for Semiconductor, Electrical, and Mechanical categories, partnering with engineering and product development teams to lead strategic component and supplier management.

Responsibilities

  • Architect the Category Strategy: Design, establish, and execute long-term global sourcing strategies for Semiconductors, Electrical, and Mechanical components.
  • Lead Advanced Sourcing & New Product Development: Embed procurement into the NPD process from ideation, driving early supplier involvement and securing emerging technologies.
  • Drive Strategic Component Supplier Excellence: Own strategic relationships and management of the Strategic Component Supplier ecosystem.
  • Executive Partnership & Influence: Advise executive leadership, engineering, and product leadership on global procurement strategies.
  • Market Intelligence & Risk Mitigation: Navigate global supply chain dynamics, leverage market intelligence, and secure competitive pricing.
  • Transformational Leadership: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing procurement team.
  • Process & Contract Innovation: Redefine contract development, negotiation processes, and change management for enterprise-wide efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 20+ years of progressive procurement and supply chain experience, with a heavy emphasis on direct materials sourcing in the technology or electronics manufacturing sector.
  • Minimum of 10 years of people management experience, with a proven track record of developing senior-level talent and creating high-performance cultures.
  • Deep understanding of the global market landscapes for Semiconductors, Electrical, and Mechanical components.
  • Significant experience managing Strategic Component Suppliers and complex contract manufacturing models, including Joint Development Manufacturing (JDM) and Original Design Manufacturing (ODM).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated history of successfully influencing Chief Executive-level leaders and leading cross-functional transformational initiatives.
  • Elite negotiation skills and the ability to leverage complex analytics to drive deal strategy, cost reduction, and value creation.

Salary/Compensations

  • $202,560.00 - $303,840.00 Annual
  • Performance-based annual cash incentive at a target equal to 30% of base pay
