Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for HR-related questions from colleagues.
  • Perform basic accounting duties, including payroll and accounts payable.
  • Proactively manage the recruitment cycle for the hourly workforce, including job postings, interviews, and orientations.
  • Maintain the employee database to ensure data accuracy.
  • Handle office duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
  • Continuously identify and attract great talent to join the team.
  • Build and lead diverse teams that promote an inclusive and welcoming workplace.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work days and weekends.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player committed to contributing to team results.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environment.
  • Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal background check.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with company systems is an asset.
  • Computer skills (PC Applications; Outlook/E-mail, Excel) is an asset.
