About the Role
Morgan Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician for a 150-unit community in Spencerport, NY. This hands-on role requires strong HVAC and plumbing experience, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality work. The position involves troubleshooting various maintenance issues, maintaining community areas, and responding to service requests, while collaborating with a Service Manager.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, plumbing, general appliance repair, carpentry, electrical, and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service requests and work orders.
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with residents and office staff regarding repairs, updates, and follow-up needs.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and help maintain the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the community.
Requirements
- Active, valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
- One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
- Up to 50% Rent Discount
- Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
- $300 quarterly (Morgan Essentials)
- $15/day for holding the on-call phone
