About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Technical Lead with 7–12 years of overall experience in Microsoft Dynamics environments, including at least 3+ years of hands-on expertise with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and CE. You will play a pivotal role in designing D365 F&O solutions, supporting end-to-end implementations, extensions, migrations, and integrations. This position will allow you to shape enterprise transformation initiatives, lead technical delivery, and build best-in-class solutions. The person in this role will be accountable for System Code Administration of D365 F&O and CE including the technical aspects of maintenance, upgrades, security role development, and providing internal support.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize and support Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O and CE solutions based on business requirements using best practices including extensibility of code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements for system enhancements
- Write, modify, and maintain code in X++ to enhance the functionality of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
- Write, modify, and maintain T-SQL code to enhance reporting and D365 F&O data mining requirements
- Support and maintain D365 integrations
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all customizations and development
- Integrate D365 F&O with other enterprise applications, using DMF and other tools ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability
- Support the development and implementation of data migration strategies
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for D365 F&O related issues
- Provide EDI technical support as required
- Collaborate with end-users to identify and resolve system issues promptly
- Perform regular system maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct thorough testing of customizations and development to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for technical system administration tasks including automatic regression testing
- Monitor the performance Dynamics 365 environments and suggest improvements as required
- Develop custom security roles and assist to maintain user access and security roles
- Manage and coordinate with Microsoft for resolution of raised technical system issues
- Participate in all phases of the Solution Delivery Life Cycle including planning, requirements definition, solution design, test execution, and implementation of Dynamics related business solutions
- Work collaboratively with the functional IT team to build, test, deploy, and maintain configurations using custom and industry common practices throughout multiple environments (e.g., Sandbox/DEV/QA/UAT/PROD)
- Respond to incidents and events with a methodical approach to assess and troubleshoot all types of production (performance, access, accuracy, etc.) issues
- Lead and/or participate in analysis sessions with functional super users/business analysts to determine application requirements for new implementations, extensions, or enhancements and facilitate workshops to demonstrate proof of concepts

Requirements
- Minimum 7 years progressive experience in ERP solution delivery
- Minimum of 3+ years working on D365 Finance & Operations or CE implementations, including greenfield, migration, or upgrade projects
- Proficient in X++, C#, SQL Server, .NET, Azure DevOps, LCS (Lifecycle Services), and Microsoft Azure and SDLC bet practices
- Extensive creation of technical design documents, coding, packaging projects, migrating and deploying code changes, and properly testing of modifications/integrations throughout project lifecycle
- Working knowledge of D365 data migration strategies, Dual-write fundamentals, and Dataverse integration patterns
- Understanding of D365 F&O data structures, extension models, reporting, and performance best practices
- Familiarity with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for D365 development and deployment
- Exposure to the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate) and relevant integrations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with business users, solution architects, and development teams
- Solid documentation, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities
