About the Role

Aon is seeking intellectually curious rising college seniors for a 10-week summer internship program within our Actuarial business area. This role offers exposure to global projects, mentorship, and professional development across four specialized tracks: Retirement Consulting, Health and Benefits Consulting, Risk Consulting, and Reinsurance Actuarial Consulting.

Responsibilities

• Craft stochastic and deterministic projections for pension and post-retirement benefit plans.
• Coordinate asset-liability analysis and due-diligence for M&A activities.
• Design and cost new retirement programs and program pension administration systems.
• Perform pension benefit calculations and support union negotiation strategies.
• Evaluate plan design and costs relative to benchmarks for self-insured plans.
• Develop employee contribution rates and conduct scenario analysis.
• Analyze plan renewals and conduct retiree medical and disability plan valuations.
• Assess P&C risk through loss forecasting and risk management strategy evaluation.
• Calculate actuarial reserves for financial statement support and regulatory opinions.
• Perform data management, accruals, and cash flow analysis.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of client correspondence.
• Identify and respond to client needs in collaboration with brokers and analysts.
• Analyze costs and benefits of risk transfer via pricing analysis and dynamic risk modeling.
• Prepare client-ready presentations to communicate analysis results.
• Participate in internal projects to improve processes, products, or services.

Requirements

• Rising college senior graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship.
