About the Role
As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a key role in delivering patient engagement and communications programs for leading pharmaceutical clients. You'll support patient ambassador initiatives, speaker programs, and patient engagement events that empower patients to share their stories and experiences. Working with increasing autonomy, you'll manage projects, build strong client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality programs that make a meaningful impact on patients' lives.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day client accounts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Support patient ambassador programs by identifying, recruiting, and engaging patients for speaker and storytelling initiatives.
- Plan and deliver virtual and in-person patient engagement events, including agendas, logistics, and stakeholder coordination.
- Develop high-quality communications materials, including presentations, event materials, and briefing documents.
- Build strong relationships with clients, patients, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful programs.
- Contribute to strategic planning, new business opportunities, and continuous improvement across client accounts.
- Travel throughout the U.S. as required to support live events and client meetings.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in healthcare communications, patient engagement, public relations, or a related field.
- Pharmaceutical or healthcare agency experience preferred.
- Experience supporting patient ambassador programs, speaker programs, or patient advocacy initiatives is highly desirable.
- Strong project management, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, patients, and colleagues.
- Willingness to travel across the U.S. to support events.
- A passion for healthcare and patient engagement, with an interest in helping patients share their stories.
- A collaborative, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced client environment.
- Someone who is organized, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional client service while continuing to develop their communications expertise.
