About the Role
The Senior Manager, PI Operational Reporting & Analysis delivers performance reporting, financial analysis, and business insights for the Personal Insurance business. This role leads the development of executive and Board-level reporting, partners with cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making, and oversees reporting processes, governance, and team development.
Responsibilities
- Lead Personal Insurance business performance reporting for the Executive Team, Board of Directors, and senior leadership.
- Translate financial, operational, and strategic data into concise executive narratives regarding performance drivers, risks, and trends.
- Develop reporting and presentations for business performance reviews and investor communications.
- Monitor and report on regional and consolidated financial and operational performance.
- Conduct P&L analysis and track key performance indicators across markets and channels.
- Identify and analyze variances, performance gaps, and emerging risks.
- Partner with Finance and business leaders to evaluate performance drivers and improve outcomes.
- Monitor progress against operating plans, financial commitments, and business objectives.
- Provide analytical support for quarterly earnings, external disclosures, and stakeholder communications.
- Deliver analytical support for major business initiatives, acquisitions, and integrations.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, governance, and analytical tools.
- Lead the implementation of dashboards, automation, and AI-enabled analytical capabilities.
- Strengthen data quality, reporting controls, and governance practices.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Operational Reporting & Analysis team.
Requirements
- University degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional designation such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, performance management, or business analytics within the P&C insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of P&L performance measurement, business performance management, and financial analysis.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex financial and operational information into executive-level communications.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple functions.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in developing talent and coaching teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- High degree of proficiency in English.
- Successful clearance of background checks including criminal checks and leadership references.
