About the Role
As Senior Product Marketing Manager II, you will own the go-to-market narrative for a portfolio of DigitalOcean's AI-Native Cloud products and a critical market segment, translating customer outcomes into compelling proof and stories. This role is for a seasoned operator and storyteller who can connect launches into multi-quarter adoption programs to establish our AI-Native Cloud as the preferred choice for AI-native startups.
Responsibilities
- Own portfolio GTM, product and market strategy, including major launches and multi-quarter adoption programs.
- Identify cross-product opportunities and synergies to accelerate adoption and revenue.
- Own positioning, messaging, and story architecture for the portfolio or segment, ensuring consistency across channels.
- Guide field enablement strategy, including pitch decks, playbooks, battlecards, talk tracks, and competitive positioning.
- Measure enablement adoption and conversation quality.
- Partner with Product and leadership on roadmap, category expansion, packaging, monetization, and value-proposition evolution.
- Build reusable AI systems, such as prompt libraries and automated insight synthesis, to enhance consistency and velocity across Product Marketing Managers (PMMs).
- Transform customer outcomes into credible, quantified proof points like stories, case studies, and references.
- Coach PMMs and cross-functional partners on messaging, storytelling, and AI-enabled insights.
- Advise teams on strategic GTM with data-backed recommendations.
Requirements
- 8+ years in product marketing or a related GTM discipline, preferably for AI, developer platforms, or infrastructure.
- Deep product and category expertise across a portfolio.
- Comfortable engaging with C-suite executives and developing technical launch plans.
- Ability to see across products and identify cross-product opportunities, synergies, and GTM motions.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills to maintain consistent positioning, messaging, and story.
- Experience guiding enablement strategy, including decks, playbooks, battlecards, and competitive positioning.
- Experience building reusable AI systems to improve team efficiency.
- Familiarity with weekly shifts in AI models, benchmarks, and agentic frameworks like AutoGen, CrewAI, or LangGraph.
- Ability to influence roadmap, category expansion, and monetization with data-backed recommendations.
- Experience coaching PMMs and partners on craft, positioning, storytelling, and AI-enabled insight.
- Ability to operate with high autonomy and know when to escalate issues.
